Also flinch-shotting does not work except he is focussing one person. In this case you can actually flinch-shot him but you'll gain focus as well.
You shouldnt call lbg cheap. Did you try actually breaking the head 2 times with anything other than lbg? It's hell. It's not fun nor time efficient. If nobody uses lbg you won't get the 2 head breaks in the first run with randoms, guaranteed. Not even thinking about the wings lol. Nobody can break them except a really good helicopter or .. again sticky lbg.
Because yet again.. everyone.. really everyone always spams the head when safi is knocked down. Regardless what you do. So my best advice is...
Grab a freaking sticky lbg and do it yourself properly until you see randoms that do the same. Otherwise.. you will waste time. Since everybody is stupid and will focus the damn legs the first week.
You make a good point. I don’t think I ever broke its horns until I used my sticky lbg build either. Which, in turn makes hammer users obsolete then. LBG sticky builds and Spread Ammo builds are more viable than hammer and hunting horn users because of how much more easily they can stun Safi due to range impact hits to the head. I only called it cheap because I recall stunning Safi back to back on console and breaking both of his horns by the second floor.
It is definitely a smarter option than Hammer or HH, but it just felt cheap the first time I actually did it, lol.
The soft ground usually seems to happen almost about every run, but that’s a good point too that I missed.
