"Detected An Incorrect Value In Save Data"
Does anybody know a fix for this, or is my time in MHW wasted?

I checked online for possible reasons for why I was getting this error message and none of the reasons listed I qualify for.

I know some people got this error message because some people tried to mod weapons into the game, etc. or had Azure Era Seals and needed to get rid of them.

I, however don't have Azure Seals nor have I tried to mod stuff into the game.
Are there other reasons this might be happening? Anyone have any advice?

I've literally just tried going in Offline to sell materials just to make sure, but it didn't work.

Only reason I've seen people get this is due to modding things into their game such as datamined weapons. You sure you never used mods?

You ripped your save by hacking something and screwing up, and this is the price you pay. Time to start over. Next time back up your save before using cheat-hax.

Are you positively sure that you've never used mods that give you access to unreleased items or used anything that can be flagged as a cheat? If you've modded in content that was datamined or hasn't been released yet then this error might occur. It's a preventive measure that Capcom implemented.

As far as I know there's no fix and the only option that I know of would be to start fresh.
Youre definetly sure that no mods or cheats were used at any time on that save file?
If you happen to have made a backup in the past then you could salvage the save file.

If youre positive that your game is completely vanilla then you could try to contact the official support channels and see whether they could take a closer look at the issue for you.

...Except I haven't hacked or modded weapons into my game. I Googled this issue before posting it here on Steam, which is part of why I don't understand.

Past threads suggest it's caused by modding in weapons, but I haven't done that. Others suggest it's something to do with Azure Era Seals or something, but I don't have those either.

I think there's a mod to bypass this, actually. Or at least at one point there existed one on nexus.

You crafted an item that hasn't been released yet. Wait til it is released or remove it in offline mode

this. there is definitly modding at work here no matter what tc claims as this message only happens in such a case. never seen it mentioned otherwise.

for example lots of people modding in frostfang barioth stuff since they are impatient and once you make any of his stuff : this happens. same for the new consti 5 charm upgrade. or the pendants etc.

all of these can cause this error.

it means the savefile has an item that wasnt released as of yet.

Supposedly that mod will give you access again - but delete anything you are not supposed to have yet if that is indeed the problem.

Also in future you might want to use the search function on these discussion threads.
