I think there are 1 or 2 Taroth weapons that are good but I don’t know what they are off the top of my head.
That seems kinda incorrect. Example: safi fire longsword is better than kulve longsword fire because of the raw. Sorry if you misunderstood me :)
So all safi weapons are worse than kulve? Damn did not know that. Well rip all my longswords i guess. :(.
Or did you think i was only asking about chargeblade?
The nice thing about the Kjarr weapons though is that it’s a one build fits all scenario. You can use the same build but swap out the charm / 1 deco to swap it between elements.
Even if there are higher damage alternatives, they are still worth keeping hold of.
why using elemental damage for raw damage? use para, blast or poison instead, if you have 200 elemental attack on that weapon and doesn't use any critical element just sell it to NPC.
Generally, Kjárr weapons provide better elemental damage due to Critical Element built in. If you do not run a high-affinity build or prefer raw damage, Safi'jiva weapons build the right way easily outdo the Kjárr weapons.
For complete elemental goodness, as already stated, run Safi armour set with Kjárr elemental weapons. Had nothing but good times with that. ;)
Then again as an aside, for raw damage the Raging Brachydios weapons provide that very well with extra Blast status sprinkled on top. (Furious) Rajang is also not to be discounted as stat sticks with the Thunder element tacked on as a bonus of sorts.
The recently added Frostfang weapons seem nice for ice damage but I have a hard time seeing them as useful as Kjárr weapons due to lack of CE.
'Kjarr's are ideal as they are generally one of if not the best options if you want to make an elemental build. But you may as well keep the 'Tarroth' weapons too, especially if you have any interest in making builds with Free Meal Secret since they count as a piece of the MR Kulve Taroth set.
If you're only running base world also keep the Glutton HBG Support HBG and KT Fire Longsword. Anything else you ditch.
Safi and Brachy is still king for most raw damage
