Monster rage meter

So today i started a brute tigrex hunt and was surprised when he went into rage mode from an instant wall bang (no clutch claws attacks) because from my memory it's two wall bangs if it's done without clutch claw attacks. So when does it enter rage mode immediately, and when can you do it multiple times?

Tigrex is a special case, it tends to be enraged much frequently than other monsters. But in general you are right, after an accumulative count of either three clutch claw hits to spin the monster or wall bangs (meaning there are cases where you can wall bang the monster three times in a row, but only if you never turned it around using the clutch claw) it angers the monster.

As RedViper said, some monster are a tad special/fast agressive, like Tigrex and oh boy Rajang. Rajang sometimes starts the fight alrdy enrage on encounter.

if im not mistaken savage pickle will remain enraged until he will eat
