Those, Raging Brachi and Alatreon are meant to be on par with Saffi's weapons. Hell, even Frostfang has some nice weaponry compared to endgame.

Only good furious rajang weaps are the HBG and maybe daggers.

The furious weapons are very good for craftable thunder weapons

Merits go to the Gunlance as well, though I prefer the deco options for the Raging Brachi Gunlance instead.

They're not great, honestly. The raw is on the lower end and the only thing they really have going for them is the affinity and thunder damage, and the former is handed out in spades in Iceborne. They're certainly good enough to get the job done on most hunts, but they're far from OP.

Unless we're talking about the only 3 HBG that are even worth mentioning we should just leave out any concept of "OP". If that was your dive why would you not use those broken "baby's first speedrun" weapons?

i used to like the rajang LBG but now i only use it as layered weapon

I included OP because the original poster was saying that these weapons seemed OP, which they are not. Wasn't my "dive' at all, so ♥♥♥♥ off with your condescending attitude please.

Raging Brachydios has good weapons too, which have pretty much entirely overshadowed Furious Rajangs weapons, at least to me.

They both have great armour though.

Furious Rajang hammer is...not bad. If I were going to use a thunder hammer it would probably be the Furious Hammer. Not entirely sure on the math but I think it might compete with the Safi alternative. 1508 Raw, 15% affinity and natural purple sharpness (with even more if you invest in handicraft). Only downside is no slots.

Would much rather use Lightbreak or the other Safi status hammers though because of how elemental damage works on hammer.
