Perfect Rush Punishing Draw
I have been having a lot of fun playing a punishing draw build with SnS, I find it to be a great weapon to use with due to how easy it is to sheath and how great the draw attack is, I've managed to get around 3 stuns on a furious rajang. I have however noticed, that perfect rush seems to apply the stun effect even mid combo, as I have stunned monsters that are already knocked down in the middle of the combo.

Could someone with more knoweldge than I on the working mechanics of perfect rush explain this perhaps? I believed only the first hit of the attack would apply the stunning effect. The first time I thought that perhaps I lagged or that I simply misjudged what happened, but it has happened to me a few times already. Perhaps the stunning effect lasts a few seconds after the draw and its not just on the first attack as I believed?

Shield blows with SnS (which I believe perfect rush has at least one in it) also do a bit of Blunt damage and so can KO.

I have never noticed a shield blow in Perfect Rush, but I could be wrong, I'll try to pay closer attention to it.

There's 2
1. The first hit of the first attack, a light shield bash followed by a couple of slashes.
2. The entire second attack, a shield uppercut of sorts.

They make a different sound, a sort of dull thud, as opposed to the slashing sound made by the sword attacks.

You are correct, I just watched a video on it, it does have one shield bash. I suppose I never noticed because I'm usually focusing on the animation queus to get the timing right XD

I think punishing draw only applies on a drawing attack.
For example the first hit of a io slash after a special sheathe on the longsword
