Furious Rajang is just a tough battle, If your running raging brachy armor, with teostra and garuga as you say you are, there is not much you'd have to change. Just make sure you have upgraded your armor as much as possible nearing 900+ armor.
EDIT: Also having Health Boost level 2-3 helps a ton when playing longsword, since it'll help avoid you being oneshot at times. And try eating a meal for Felyne Moxie as well.
And just take a step back and think hard about what's really tripping you on the battle, are you overcommitting your attacks and enabling yourself to get hit on an opening? Is it your spacing or position on the monster? Is he doing any thunder attacks that shred your defense/hp? (bring a thunder mantle for example) Sometimes its better to take the fights a bit 'slower' and count your attacks carefully. If all else fails, it doesn't hurt to try doing it with another weapon either.
normal jang or angry brachi, zorah etc. until you have the parts for furious gun
don't forget fortify to return stronger if you carted
could also try to go with kinsect only insect glaive and palico rallye 5.
critdraw frostcarft gs with hit and run tactic
use max potion instead of mega potion and have it on the quick wheel for quick access and bring crafting materials for this
he is normally easier than rajang because he has bigger opening after many of the new attacks.

use the shield tool for the palico, if you use a range weapon or kinsect only
frostcraft gs

1. What is the monster weak to?
2. What element does the monster use?
You answer those 2 questions and you are 90% the way home.
ranged? run evade distance 3 or guard + guard up pending on ranged weapon.
hes not a terrible fight just tough to learn since he can be very punishing. but thats true of any end tier monster in this game.
its 2p raging 3p teo imo. garuga and brute are heavly outdated by now and shouldnt be used anymore on a standard raw ls setup.
for ls definitly swap in a minds eye. this way you prevent bouncing as his arms when powered up bounche even purple sharpness. one of the very few monsters where minds eye is worth it on ls.
other than that maybe add a hard thunder res deco. with the 2p brach/3p teo this easy pushes over 20 thunder def and negates the blight on top.
thats pretty much all you need for furious for comfort. rest standard meta ls setup works just fine (which contains hb 3 normally ofc)
bring thunderproof mantle and whatever other mantle you prefer really. dont run rocksteady tough as many of his attacks can double hit if you dont get knocked back which is fatal if youre not a full hp.
he has plenty of fair openings unlike his regular version where the beam is the only good opening overall to land a combo.
And even that has been proven to fail if you cannot beat them in under 5 minutes! ;)
