The only "bad" elder would be Kushala and maybe lunastra.
For Teo... The damage is Tiny , and im pretty sure there is a skill that negates it.
Vaal... There is literally a whole skill to completly negate that...and nullberries too... Or just not getting hit and having good enough armor to survive.
Nergi... Yeah that's just skill issue.
Kirin... Dont stand in the big ass glowing areas, its really not that bad.
Also tremor resistance is a thing.
Did you use defender gear by any chance?
Teostra: The damage isn't that bad, and wearing a fireproof mantle makes it even less so.
Vaal Hazak: Effluvia resistance. Max it. Easiest elder in the game.
Nergigante: Dive bomb is announced by a roar when spikes are all black. Sheathe and superman dive, or block it, or LS foresight can absolutely ignore it.
Kirin: Every attack shows where the lightning will strike. Don't over-commit your attacks.
Tremor is silly, but nearly all instances of it are easily avoided. Just step out of range, roll it, block it, counter it, or even use tremor resist.
foresight can't ignore nergigante dive bomb, last night i FS'd it and still take dmg, rolling to left / right still get hit because it's 360 hitbox it's so cheap. When he roars my character flinch for like 3 whole seconds, there is not enough time to do anything when the attack comes
when kushula fly i can flash it but it will fall down right into the tornado which i can't even get close to, this monster is so badly designed
and as for the other titles id honestly say the elders in this our way easier to deal with compared to titles with freedom unite and generations ultimate lol
Foresight absolutely can i-frame the divebomb. Make sure you have at least 10% spirit to perform it or else it's just a normal dodge and will likely get crushed.
When he roars, he's stuck in animation too. If I have enough time to sheathe my charge blade and superman dive, then LS's much faster sheathe is fast enough to do the same. And if you refuse to accept the truth, because that's the feeling I'm starting to get, then slot in level 4-5 earplugs so you have more than enough time to sheathe your weapon.
Move away from the tornado and have him follow you away from it before flashing him out of the sky. Come on, man. I can't complete every single thought for you.
if you are afraid to lose out spaces for other skills then charm will be an option. Upgrade it 1-2 levels or more if you have enough materials. Then put decorations to push that skill level to the highest level like Effluvia rese, blast res,... depending on the monster you hunt. I'm pretty sure any player at that time had an optimal build, so changing a few decorations shouldn't affect dps too much. This is a monster hunting game, you also have to adapt to each one, not just build a set of equipment
Foresight absolutely can i-frame the divebomb. The matter is whether you have the minimum amount of spirit to use.
Next time you gonna complain about Kirin is unfair to fight against cause it spam lightning everywhere ?
the problem is when he does that he doesn't go to my location, just staying on the air and spam air breath
lol... imagine defending kiring. this ♥♥♥♥ is on another level of total trash, none of my weapon could hit him without getting deflect but since he's not a story monster i can completely ignore him.
With that logic then every monster that provides some kind of a challange would be trash design hence why you cry about monsters like Val Hazak that moves so slowly that its laughable.
Just admit you bad and want to get spoon feed cause you dont care about prepairing yourself with the right items vs every monster you mention.
You dont even need lvl 3 Effluvia resistance. Just keep 10 blue fruits in your pocket and eat it when you get hit and heal up and dont hug him when he blows up.
I killed him on first try on High rank and again in MR on my first time playing this game.
Most of your post is just classic skill issue, I want to get carried additude. Lord Gwyn told you what you need to know.
But if you dont want to follow any advice and keep complaining then thats on you.
vaal hazak move slowly but its attack hitbox and range is ridiculous, like a body charge hit me when i'm from behind him because ??? or tail sweep hit me when i'm hugging its body. I know nullberry but everytime i cure it, 2 mega potion is waste and if i even get to close, HP gauge gone again.
and here's the classic elite "i killed this monster first try, u suck" i was waiting for, of course someone who has played 10000+ hours of MH could do it no sweat.
I cannot remember the last time I carted to any elder dragon besides Fatty/Ala.
Edit - Glad they gave us an AT version of both....
the moment i looked up who were the people liking this game and what they are into, i understood what was going on
these are perverted individuals that flocked to a nieche product and molded it to be as gatekeeping as possible
not only they are a cost to society by their lack of contribution, they are a cost to decency and also a cost to the medium itself that now is poorer cuz it is catered to mad narcisist instead of the average normal player.
There's no other thing to do than to be sad ... sometimes life sucks and nothing can be done ...
-someone out there probably
And your post is what I was looking for aswell. The difference between you and me are you spend more time complaining on the forum while I did an effort to read up on monsters and what they do and prepair myself for the fight with the proper items and proper weapon element to overcome the challange.
Just that you think I'm a sweety tryhard for killing him on HR/MR with ease on my first char in this game just because I spend more time prepairing then you do tells everything I need to know.
I died alot vs Nerg in HR but I did not spend hours crying about it on the forums. I adabted and used new strategies to beat him and won. Same goes for all the other monsters that became a wall for me cause they need you to do something els then clicking one button to win.
I used the resources that was available for me to use both ingame and on the internet.
What do you do other then wasting time here trying to win an argument you already lost ?
Just admit it already that you dont want to waste time and would rather quit then give it some effort.
