Tempered Elder Dragons

hello, I took a break from MHW and after 2-3 years decided to start up again and reached ice borne but currently I'm trying to unlock all mantles and the only one I'm currently having issues getting is the rock steady mantle. i know the requirements to unlock but can't seem to get investigations to spawn or unlock them for the T.elder dragons and was wondering if anyone could help either explain how to make it easier or just start some to help me out

Do the high rank event quest The Thronetaker. Gives you 3 tempered elders all in 1 quest, making is very easy to meet the requirements to unlock the mantle quest.

yeah i tried but im currently hr 60 so grinding for it while i waited for another option

That's the easiest option. Guaranteed 3 tempered elders, and having them in a single quest means their health is massively crippled.

I've actually doing the same thing as you right now. Like others have said Thronetaker is a good option, though if you're not confident in your tempered Lunastra fighting ability like me then you can still do the quest, but just stalk Negi and pick up tracks until you get an investigation.

I’ve actually just completed it after realizing the hr requirement was 50 not 100
