You might want to check if you can get the layered armor with the Summer tickets; I forgot which armor it is but in base game, there were festival armors too.
Eg. Orion, Harvest, and a few others I can't remember.
They have layered versions too.
You can check the list here (majority are from Iceborne) but I remember there was quite a number of layered armors in base game too (I'm a collector):

I saw that one, diver costume. I am thinking about getting that one instead. We can't get past events' costumes right?
ps: capcom can i have some compensation now
i think it will work even tho you dont own iceborne
its a "mod" that will give you all armors in game as layered armor ( cosmestique only )
great if you want to be a fashion hunter :>
personaly i use "MHW Costume armor"
if you want you can add me so i can help you install / use it
some stuff returns during other festivals
Grand Appreciation Festival had a rotation of all previous festivals for example, every week another festival from the past.
you have always the option to use mod/cheat to get the tickets if you missed something
save file can become corrupted through certain mods but modders normally also offer solutions for the problem.
capcom implemented something to protect unreleased content which makes the savefile invalid if you had bought the stuff from the all item modshop, but workarounds already exist.
There was also an issue with the witcher dlc and one of the additional npc's in gathering hall mod, but it was also quickly solved by the modding community through a hotfix.
if you want to be save create a savegame backup, use the modshop buy the tickets, than save the game and restart the game to see if anything broke, than remove all the stuff and keep on playing or use ce so you don't have to add anything to the game folder.
ce has its own traps if you use it careless but everything can also be fixed with the tool again.
