for Iceborne, i think alatreon are slightly stronger than kjaar dragon tough i'm not sure (but dragon element is pretty useless anyway) and i heard frostfang barioth's weapons are also equal or slightly stronger than kjaar depending of the weapon, DBs could be one of them tough i'm not sure.

Azure Rathalos: *Sweats profusely*

Even if it is better, Kjarr comes with built-in Crit Element which just opens all the options possible for build variety. It's just too good.

I really wish my prediction of Pendants being the ability to imbue set bonuses of sorts into weapons rather than being just decorative (and mostly invisible except the really obvious DLC ones lol) was accurate / true.

I mean I know we eventually got Whatever Essence / Divinity on Safi'Jiiva stuff but like, I figured one of the more logical progression paths due to HR having Kjarr and Luna weapons with the baked in set bonuses like Guts and Razor Sharp was having pendants that did the same.

I guess it would have been pretty overpowered if you could slap Critical Element on anything (and then had any armour set bonuses that also had Critical Element simply upgrade it to Critical Element Secret AKA True Critical Element if you stacked them together) but it would have been nice, at least to me lol.

The thought of sticking a rare Warming pendant on my Hammer so I no longer have to carry Hot Drinks around or use up a decoration slot on a Warming Jewel makes me crave, but alas.

Thus we just end up with a few weapons who's unique feature AKA baked in Critical Element like you say, making sure without a doubt they're the best in slot simply due to efficiency, rendering all the other weapons pretty much redundant, lol. A little saddening, actually.

Especially so considering PC and its rushed updates meaning everyone got a hold of Safi'Jiiva weapons for like what, a month maybe, before they were replaced. :steammocking:

I was praying and hoping the entire time we waited for IB that they'd add charms with Master's Touch and such. They did make a charm with the Xeno sharpness bonus and Guts.

But here we are, in our Teostra Head/Gloves/Belt, or the Behemoth set Safi set as usual.

The Razor Sharp/Spare Shot charm is only R11 which means there's a possible upgrade to make it into a R12 True Razor Sharp/Spare Shot charm in the future, at least. I think maybe Masters Touch on a charm would be quite strong, but I mean if it comes from the ultimate end game monster like AT Ruiner Nergigante or (hopefully) Fatalis, that'd be fine.

I was really hoping for a charm that combined all of the Gathering type ones into one big super charm, but I'm honestly not sure if the game could support having that many different skills on a single item, actually. Sure would be nice to have like, Master Fisher, Master Gatherer, Carving Pro, Honey Hunter, BBQ Expert or whatever on a single charm, anyway.

I also hoped for charms you could slot decorations into, or even a charm that counted as +1 towards your armours set bonus, a bit like the Safi'Jiiva essence stuff, to make it easier to activate some of the good set bonuses without totally gimping yourself, lol. Who knows, maybe we'll get a Safi'Jiiva charm with AT Safi that lets you roll an essence onto it?
