The use of warrior's streamstone?

Got one dropped and i'm about 140h ingame. What are those for?

Am i just a lucky noob? I got it for the sword and shield and dual blades.

If you have Iceborne, they are pretty much obsolete now, you can meld them into decorations at the melder, if you just have base game, they are used to augment weapons to make them more powerful :)

They're used for augmenting weapons.

It's used to augment fully upgraded weps... back in base game that is. With the Iceborne expansion, they're no longer worth much now that u can upgrade weps even further.

Used to augment R6 and R7 weapons, with Heroes being used to augment R8.

Padding for the end game of High Rank, but largely obsolete thanks to Iceborne, although going into Iceborne content with an augmented weapon can be nice, I suppose.
