Astalos as an invader

Say Astalos was in MHW. Would you want him to be an invader, or a monster that is exclusive to a few maps.

I would like him to be an invander just because of his theme music.

Imagine fighting a glavenus and then you just hear a guitar riff as astalos flies in.

doesn't really fit as an invader monster honestly. why would he bother going to the volcano for example when he can just sit in the forest and eat bugs all day

You could turn Great Jagras into an Invader class monster and he'd be more fun than Banbaro and more relevant than Seething Bazelgeuse, lol.

Seething Great Jagras is what we need. Another DPS check - he appears in your area, and begins to eat the monster you're fighting. If you don't do enough Sleep status build up on him to make him fall asleep and choke to death on his meal, he finishes eating the monster and the quest fails immediately.

Although I would absolutely love it if they added both Blinking and Lucent together in a duo fight in the arena, the one without the camp so you can't restock Sticky cheese them, too! Also, Blinking Nargacuga has nothing Midogaron, lol. We do have room for another Garon, after all!

Man, think of the potential set bonus on Blinking Narga gear. Evade Extender Secret, doesn't increase evasion distance but provides the Evasion Mantle bonus effect at level 4 and 5, that'd be so tasty! Especially with a Lance, combining that with Offensive Guard...ooh! Lance wouldn't be boring anymore!

TBH, Im hoping we get the Garons from Frontier. Odo is kinda a lite version of em.

Looking at the various other Garons from previous installments, they really kind of make Odogaron seem pretty lite for sure, lol.

I forget the names but the first time I became aware there were other Garon types, was a pair of them, I think a male and female pair of some kind, right? Different coat colours and I'm guessing possibly different elements / fighting styles too.

I think I read that they bonded, and if you killed one of them the other one would go berserk, and that they could call each other for assistance in combat as well. That would have been a logical inclusion for Iceborne in my opinion, couple of wolves hanging around Hoarfrost, they have the Lunastra + Teostra bonding event, not to mention they added the ability for various pairs like Rathalos and Rathian to call their "allies" to a fight as well..

..just seems like a bit of a missed opportunity there, is all. Would have been pretty cool, Iceborne is truly lacking invasion type monsters, I'd say. Even Savage Deviljho doesn't seem too keen to join the fray.

Aha, that's what they're called! Nonu Orugaron and Kamu Orugaron. Female and male, respectively!

Two years later, and it's been announced that Astalos's coming in for Sunbreak. I'm hoping they'd reunite the Fated Four in MH6 since with Astalos announced, three of the four has been ported to 5th Gen. We need Gammoth, it's supposed to be Fated FOUR, not Fated Three.

Definitely happy to see him. Gammoth is by far the least popular among the Fated Four and might require more work than the others, so I'm not sure we'll see him anytime soon.
