GTX 1060 or RX 570 4gb

Which one would you use? I have both and only one desktop that can run MH.

If the GTX 1060 is 6 GB then it clearly wins, you need a little over 4gb for full textures.

i'm playing mhw with gtx 1060 6 gb, everything high/max, out of fights i have 60 fps(capped) and fighting with more graphic monsters (Teostra) i have about 40-50 fps

My laptop has a GTX 1060 6GB in it, runs the game perfectly on medium settings at 1080p. I'd choose that if I were you.

Alright. I thought the RX 570 might be more powerful since it's larger and requires it's own power cord from the power supply. I'll just stay with the GTX 1060 then. Thanks guys.

...you sure that's a 1060? I've never seen a 1060 that doesn't require a power cord.

Let me double check but when I took a quick look inside there were no cords.

PRETTY sure the highest pascal card with no auxiliary power requirement is the 1050 Ti.

Unless I missed some weird offshoot model of the 1060. Which is possible considering there's like five damn versions of the base 1060 now.

Not really. The 3gb has less vram, but it's still more powerful than the 570. If it's not a 480/580/590, the polaris gpus are NOT worth money.

Well, the 1650 is still more powerful than the 570. And, hey. It'll save you a couple dollars on your power bill over the 570.

I understand and I've no issues. I was just trying to get insight from others. Evidently I listed the wrong GTX model in the title. lol I'm a dummy.
