For starters #1 i hate mods for MHW #2 i love mods for MHW

Reason #1 the one hit mods i hate when i join a SOS to help someone and a random person with a one hit mod joins and ruins the fun or people modifying how much DPS they do to shorten the fight or when they have every decoration equipped those should be a bannable offence

Reason #2 i love mods that allow you to see the monsters health and what buffs i currently have active and how long they are active for along with how much DPS my teammates are doing so i know if someone needs help in the game or if they are leeching

if you are honestly worried about modders make 2 seperate launchers for MHW one with easy anti cheat on and the other with it off

OR

take away the easy anticheat because not only is it causing massive problems but allowing people to use mods will also allow people to know who is cheating hard like with being allowed to see what my teams DPS is i can tell how much Damage one person has done and is one person has done over 20k damage with one hit and with a team of 4 that honestly seems like a massive cheater and if you were to say that one hit mods are a bannable offence then we can report the player for cheating

if you dont mind players cheating and you can mod the game aslong as you dont ruin the game for others dont punish your entire community for only the few who ruin the fun

you may not like them and hundreds of people may not like them but i have played a lot of Monster hunter games and it gets kinda old not being able to see the monsters health also you may not have seen a lot of one shot players

Health mods is fine later on, monsters don't limp as much and when you really wanna go for these captures sometimes people will just keep on attacking and kill it.

Dps mods NEED to be more present imo. Lots of trashtalking LS users sit at 8-10% damage while the ones they're actively bad mouthing have over 50% of the damage done in the session.

I feel knowing your damage % is also an incentive to push yourself to do better, but that's just me. ;P

yeah i compleetly agree after playing several Monster hunter games on the Ps2 PSP Wii WiiU 3ds NEW3ds i honestly think i have a total game time of 7k hours of monster hunter games and yeah i have ran into a lot of players in capture missions that will try to kill the monster when it clearly says CAPTURE when you join and when you are in mission

Never seen a oneshot cheater in almost 500 hours but I saw a dude that was making an extremoth fall with every hit when I joined an SOS flare, which is odd (instant quit for me, not dealing with that)

1) There is no Easy Anti-cheat on this game. 2) HBG is heavy bow gun, and has been for a long time. 3) 1 hit mod cheaters are rare.

cosmetics are fine they have no problem with that you can download any cosmetic modd off nexus mods and will be fine but its the other mods that people like to use like

Piller Beam items = monster drop items have a white beam to show were the items were droped
Smart hunter = allows people to see all monsters HP buffs that you cast along with DPS of team
Shop keep editor = i dont recomend using because it can ruin the game for the user but it dose help if you can get that one deco you need and you have been farming for it for 3 hours with no luck
Moving all the NPC's that were in astera "before iceborne" to the gathering hub so that way you didnt have to leave the gathering hub to work on your gear

all great mods that people now cant use

safi jiva is not out on PC yet and for a console player i highly dought you can mod MHW on a PS4 or Xbox with out getting banned by them
