WEX is your highest priority stat - level 1 alone gives: "attacks that hit weak spots have 10% increased Affinity, with an extra 5% on wounded parts."
Generally however, trying to prioritise an affliction like Poison isn't worth it just due to how the resistance builds up from a monster. Your first poison would come in quickly, but each following poison application would take significantly longer each time up to a certain point. You're still likely to have 3/4 applications of poison throughout the duration of a hunt regardless of the build.
You're still better off looking for high raws or high elementant dependant on your weapon choice. For SnS, go elementant as it got a massive buff in IB.
Also raw has been nerfed for the most part...scratch that, elemental has been buffed
