Is there a fix for the controller input lag?
I'm getting pretty annoyed at having to over and understeer my analog stick with the bow, I am not TRYING to do a challenge run but the game really wants me to hone my skills so I can play even with a malfunctioning controller hah.

Anyone got a fix?

My controller also has input lag, glad to know that I'm not the only one after the patch

Same with mine. when I was using the bow I would get delayed inputs by a second/inputs queuing 2 or 3 inputs and sometimes even slide shot the wrong way.

Seems to be an issue since Iceborne came out on PC, we'll just have to wait for capcom to fix it.

well isn't the game just like that?
im playing on ps4,the input lag is horrible and with low fps and all
on pc im playing with xbox one controller, same input lag even though it ran with 60 fps so i though that's just the way the game is?

Well if you haven't done this already, make sure your peripheral drivers are updated? usually the manufacturer of your motherboard has them on their official site. This includes all your usb ports any wireless onboard devices like bluetooth or wifi whether you're using a wired or wireless connection for your controllers like steam controller, Dual Shock 4 or xbox.

i have no input lag on my steam controller. my girlfriend had input lag with her ps4 controller but i turned off HDR and the input lag was fixed. if you are using HDR, try turning it off and see if that helps. if you are playing on a TV, make sure you set the TV to game mode

My controller feels unresponsive sometimes and it's bugging the hell out of me. Though, the controller is quite old so there is tnat. But it was working fine prior to iceborne.

its been an issue since the kulve taroth update. they are aware of it but dont let them forget either xD. in a game about moving and positioning and striking at the precise moment, input lag is far worse an enemy than a AT Kusha.

The game ran perfectly for me before the expansion. Iceborne absolutely tanked my FPS, which came with the nice added bonus of horrible input lag when the FPS gets too low. Absolutely no changes on high or low settings. Also closed any and all processes, no change. It's something Capcom needs to fix on their end.

It's the same with KB+M.
Playing bow since vanilla MHW and know my timings relatively well.
It's very wonky and unresponsive in IB now for whatever reason.
Not FPS related because I have way above 60 (which is perfectly playable and fine obviously), about ~100-120 which should be enough to eliminate all the input lag, however it's completely unrelated in MHW:IB. Other games are way more responsive, hell even vanilla MHW was more responsive.

The input lag on the controller made me want to play with a keyboard but if the problem is there aswell doens't seem to be worth going throught the pain of learning to play with a keyboard.

You might be lucky with KB+M, who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knows, this game has some serious potato code.

Never noticed any input lag with my controler, before or after iceborne. Might be a problem with the controler, or with the game's performance itself.

I had an input lag with my xbox controller. Fixed it by going to Steam Big Picture -> MHW -> Setting -> Controller Setting -> and choose don't use Steam input there. I don't know more precise names for setting because I use Steam with different language (not english), but I hope it will help.

this fixed the issue that my friends were having with the controller.
after a quick restart, their inputs are being received instantly now.
