I dunno, my experience with him was hilarious, we were all making gas related jokes, getting sleeped and hitting each other, laughing as things showed up and got gassed in turn, etc. At one point Velkana showed up to do some damage, but ended up being slept, then Nightshade Paolumu ran off and we followed it, Velkhana woke up and just left the locale immediately etc.
His major annoyance is his reluctance to land, for sure, but there are ways of dealing with that so it's a meh problem at best.
Negate sleep with jewels and the fight becomes a joke.
