Quests appearing and disappearing all the time.

I know that special arenas are made in the weirdest way and sometimes they are displayed and other times not, but normal quests should not work like that, should they? "Mark of the Sun" MR 5-star quest appeared to me, I simply finished it and it was gone from the quest board. After a couple of quests it appeared again, but the problem is that I had to re-do it because the "Completed!" mark was gone. I've already done it for the second time and it doesn't appear anymore after tons of quests, but I guess I'll be forced to do it for the third time one day. Is there something special about this quest or it's just a bug?

I was wondering this myself. I used a notepad to keep track of which quests I've done. I agree that this is the first time optional quests that aren't arena normally do not disappear. Not sure if intended because none of the other non arena optional do not do this outside of MR 5 star quests. I do have to say there, just like the previous tier of quests, is a repetitive cycle of kill this 2-3 times. For example there are 2 Teostra, 2 Kushala, 2 Blackveil Vaal Hazak quests. Only real difference is that they are in different zones. Thankfully there are no arena quests in the 5 star MR quests or we'd have to kill those a 3rd time. Maybe the OP killed one but not in the other area.

if "Completed!" is blue, then it means you completed all the quests you can see but there are still more quests to discover

Yeah, I know about it. For BVH I'll need research level 4 and for Kushala probably too. However for Teostra I've already done both with the difference that "Mark of the Sun" can't stay completed even though I've done it twice.

No, that's not what I mean. I literally mean the "Mark of the Sun" quest. I completed it and had it marked with "Completed!", the quest itself. there are actually 2 MR teostra secondary quests, one in elder recess, one in wildspire waste. Probably you just did one of them and then the other one appeared

there are actually 2 MR teostra secondary quests, one in elder recess, one in wildspire waste. Probably you just did one of them and then the other one appeared

No. One is "Completed!" all the time. "Mark of the Sun" is in Elder's recess and I've already done it twice, I hope I will not be forced to do it for the third time.

Oh, that too! I have the maximum research level on certain monsters and I don't get the skull nonetheless from time to time.

part of that is the monster needing to enter a non rage state for them to show up sometimes. they shouldnt have to but i've noticed that. i've killed stuff while its enraged and never saw skulls as a result in the past.

as for the quests i am unsure. i know for optionals there are some that come up for a limited time, typically denoted by coming into town and it saying how many quests you have left before it vanishes.

i'd hazard a guess and say elder dragons cycle out periodically. to try and get more people to hunt together that are looking for those things to hunt. i could be wrong though.
