Iceborne Weapons/Armour Don't Have Augmentations

hello fellow huntahs

so after 5 days of iceborne I just realized that weapons from rarity 8-9 and up don't have augmentations. now i don't know if the dev's forgot or intended to leave them out, but this is kinda stupid this someone like myself had fully augmented a weapon then went to upgrade and lost their augments.

this is a huge error guys and i wish that the dev's fix this

The error is the existence of this post. Armor and weapons have augments.

I'm not compaining. I generally didn't know that you have to progress further in the game to unlock this feature. I thought that it was unlocked by just upgrading my weapon plus I have a life and can't play 24/7

It onyl makes sence?

Vanilla youy didnt have access to augs unless you beat xeno jiva.

Hm, nope. My Knightly Ectis, Love's End, Nergal Impaler etc. all still say "You cannot augument this equipment" at the smithy =\

Go to guiding lands and get some shiny drops from fighting. That should unlock it.

Etxept for nergal impaler, they should be augmentable.

Check your tutorial log.

Nergal Impaler doenst augment because its not end of the line.

you need to fight monsters there and have them drop item's, then you'll unlock augmentation.
