Yukumo layered armor

Is there any way to get the yukumo layered armor, without losing my character on monster hunter world. I'll glady pay double the price just for the yukumo layered armor if it was possible. I tried to have friends gift the whole package, but it doesn't work because I already have the original game. I did want to pre order, but studying in China for two months and having a VPN that does not work prevented me from pre ordering. I did read something about uninstalling the game and gifting the whole package, but will that allow me to keep my character and all my progress? Please help!

If you buy master edition before the end of this month you still get the layered armor.

You can manually save your progress. Just google how to find the save data.

You can manually save your progress. Just google how to find the save data.

So if I manually save my progress, I can still keep my character and I can buy the master's edition to get the layered armor? Is this legal and will this still work with steam and MHW?

Did you tryed to claim the DLC content from the Housekeeper palico?

You can keep your progress if you backup it manually, since it's the save file with the same ID as your Steam account anyway
Your save is located ..../Steam(Library)/userdata/308011114/582010/remote/ < Then make a copy of both SAVEDATA and keep it somewhere safe

And the only way for you to buy Master Edition now is by removing the game completely from your Steam library not uninstall, simply speaking, disown it. It is possible to do so but I don't know how, either check google or ask Steam support (they might suggest you not to though)

If you really want that Yukumo armor you'd have to
1)Back up your saves
2)Remove the game permanently through steam support
3)Buy the master edition which comes with pre-order bonuses
4)Use the save files you've backed up and continue gaming.

But that's 60 dollars for Yukumo armor tho, if you got too much spare cash then why not lol.
Edit:Not sure if you will keep your previous DLC, you might have to look it up

Dlc is not tracked by save data, there were several times where I had to restart my game because it thought I didn't have the samurai armor dlc.

It does have your progress. I am curious if it has your character edit voucher stuff though. That's scary to think about.

Huge yikes about dlc... idk if deleting the game will make you lose the dlc as steam won't let you buy dlc without the base game.

If you haven't pre-ordered the game, you won't get it.

What you mean the DLC? The one that sell in store page? I think you're gonna have to rebuy them if you insist on removing MHW from your library, not sure though as I never done this. If anything Steam support staff will have better answer
Though the windcharm and Origin set aren't really worth it, you can get the Origin set as layered if you fight AT Zorah

It worked! Removed the game from my account, uninstalled from library, bought the whole pack, installed, before launching I pasted the file and started the game with all my progress. I did lose my fairy wind charm and origin armor, but kept my DLC and got my beloved yukumo layered armor! Thank you everyone!
