Can't get large elder dragon gem

So.. I farmed elders for two solid days, trying to get this gem and I can't. I farmed Shara, velkhana, teo, etc ALL in master rank and I have no gem. I am starting to wonder if I am farming the right monsters. Anyone know which I should be fighting for this gem?

Shara and Velk dont drop Elder Gems, the rest should even Nami.

is a rare material from any elder dragon in master rank. do an investigations on elder dragon to get it more easly.

The MHW wiki straight up lied to me, it told me all elders drop them.

I'm almost positive they cant drop them because they have their own Gem/Mantle, I could be wrong but ive never gotten one from them.

teo definetly drops them, got a bunch of them when farming my armor.
look out for investigations with like 2-3 gold rewards.

I got a bunch of Large Gems from the Black Veil Vaal Hazaak while making it's armor.

That thing is stupidly easy to kill, dies in around 10 minutes, and might just be my dumb luck, but I only fought him like 10 times, before I made the entire Veil Hazaak B+ set, and still had like 5 Large Gems left over.

Again, could be dumb luck... But he's pretty much the easiest Elder Dragon to kill. Put on some "MR Girros" armor with a paralyze weapon, and you're golden.
