Ancient forest strange roar ?

Middle of a hunt in the ancient forest and randomly a loud roar like sound happened.
i dont recognize that roar

Does anyone know what it might be? rajang or another monster ?

IT HAPPENED TO ME TOO!
Scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me, I was actually startled.
I was wearing my headset and playing alone in my living room.
It sounded wayyy different than any of the other usual ambient sound or roars that you hear.
I think I know where the roar came from, but I don't want to spoil it for you (in case you're not at that part of the story line yet).

I never heard a roar but i could hear the "song" in the coral highlands.

It was very loud, scary and long? Have you fought the elder dragons already? There is one that you gather info in the forest but you don't fight him/her there. I think it's his/her roar.

The only thing about this roar is it doesn’t sound very much like Rathalos or Rathian, it’s much deeper, hearing it today for the first time today and I am very curious.

You can hear the roar when noone is nearby in GL too

If you heard it in Ancient Forest: It's rath calling each other
If you heard it on Hoarfrost reach: It's Legiana screeching to call his kind
In the end i am also not sure because i also read it somewhere on reddit..

It's two monsters of the same species calling to the other for aid.
This includes :

Silver Rathalos - Gold Rathian
Teostra - Lunastra
Legiana - Shrieking Legiana
This will only occur if they are in separate zones. For instance, silver rathalos must be in the coral highlands if gold rathian is calling from the recess. Otherwise, silverlos would just fly to the other area without the roar.

No, it's the raths. If youre in the same area as one of them, they can do the roar while youre there

I dont think Teo and Luna have a roar like the raths or legiana
