On my old save file I am pretty sure the NPC's call you sapphire star after a certain quest, was this after White Wind optional quest or after the HR lvl 100 quest?

The HR 100 quest is when they start calling you the star, I think

Pretty sure everyone talked after the white wind quest but noone in Astera wanted to talk after it, I could just be remembering wrong but even guides say people wish to speak with you.
If true then having IB kinda messed that up but oh well.

When did you beat the base-game? I know after IB I got called Sapphire Star a few times even though I hadn't done all optional quests at that time on my new save file.

I just remember you had to go around like 20 NPC's to stop the ! above their heads and some NPC's you had to wait to spawn out from the room and gate.

They start calling you Saphire Star after you complete the main story.

iirc it's after the 100 HR Quest. Don't know the english name of the Quest. But roughly translated "Follow the Sapphire Star"

Maybe it's because of the Iceborn update but I'm HR 45 and I hear the NPCs in Astera calling me that.
