[Tips for New Player in Iceborne] Getting Gourmet Tickets and Mega Demon Drug via Steamwork.
If you unlocked guiding lands after the story.
Try and mine every chance you have.
You'll get alot of fuel that is useful for steamwork.

1.You can get Mega Demon Drug from eldermelder exchange using Steam Ticket with ratio of 1:1

2. You will easily get from 200-300 Gourmet tickets each time you stacked a lot of coal Gourmet Ticket.

3. Best loop for Coal Farming is Coral -> Rotten -> Volcanic.
when Tundra Region is out, it will be Coral -> Rotten -> Volcanic -> Tundra.
(Make sure to unlock eastern Camp & There will be a spot of the left where you can drop down and go directly to volcanic region.)
Going out of eastern camp and moving to right is the Coral Region and Jumping down is the Rotten region, after that the volcanic region will be near to Rotten region.

Some Extra Tips: Make sure to use geologist 4 for extra mining. then stuff that are good for stamina running + Hungerless, Tool Specialist is good as well, especially tool specialist secret with Assassin's Creed Mantle will increase moving speed. Quick Sheath with hunting Horn for the Max Stamina is you need to, + the movement speed song.

As seen in my picture, i got like 217 Gourmet Tickets + a few celestial print. There are 203 Steam ticket that can be used to exchange Mega Demon Drug as well. If you use stamina consuming weapon like Dual Blades or Bow, it also can be used to exchange Dash Juice. (Forgot how much I stacked)

Thankfully for PC players, you'll get to use automated steamwork mods, it automatically do the steamwork for you, use it while you go to sleep or something.

For PS4 Players, you'll need to use Macro using Remote Play.

Yeah Steamwork tickets are pretty great. You can meld with a LOT of stuff, for things like Mega Demondrugs, Dash Juice etc, but before the Steamworks it was all stuff that was annoying to obtain in large quantities (arena coins, event tickets, etc) but now the Steamworks drops a ticket worth 100 melding points, it's fantastic for keeping topped off.

Good guide, OP. You should consider making this into a proper Steam Guide itself, maybe include the melding table of major items you can meld and how many you get per Steam Ticket, etc, for future reference! I've told a bunch of people in various sessions about it and I haven't met someone else who knew about it already, etc!

Maybe one day we'll see that elusive Giant Dragonvein Coal, the purple one. I'm 99% sure it's not even in the game, at least for PC, yet.

Steamwork is worse than bitcoin mining.
I hope we will get some other ways in the future to obtain Gourmet Voucher or at least an option to burn more coal at once.

a passive burning process would be another alternative.
I want to hunt monsters and i don't want to sit infront of an oven.

If possible you should save your fuel for events (just like the one on this month), so you can get some average gems through tickets and, I might be wrong, but it is easier to score jackpots and to overdrive the machine.

Don't forget to use a rubbber band, it is essential!
