Monster with infinite HP on SOS

Third time today I find this "BUG?" where the monster flat out refuses to die. Had a tobi kadashi lives well past 20 minutes of focused DB damage, all crits. Same with a Rathian and a tempered Glavenus who got like 100k damage and his EKG was still 100%.
All were SOS I've joined, but I refuse to believe people are doing it on purpose through mods/cheats to annoy other people.

Anyone else had something like this?

nope. sounds to me like some sort of host client sync error. if you think this problem is happening again,if possible, disconnect from the internet either by pulling your ethernet out of your PC and hookng it back in or disable and enable your wifi adapter. then continue the hunt solo. it'll rescale to you so the monster will have less HP. if its still unkillable then i dont know what to tell ya.

It happened to everyone on the session, so I don't think it's me. Even the host got puzzled by this as it affected him too. Also it happens at random, like 5 fights go OK and all of sudden I join one with this problem.

I've tried it, but after 5 wall bangs, 2 wake up with dragonator and lots of lots of DS concentrated crits, I knew something was off. Even tried to capture the monster, but he wasn't on capture HP.

running max damage or a more comfy set? top upgraded weapon and such for all people included?

If the person u join in SOS have a cheat engine table, he can change the Investigation Monster HP ( Low/High ) maybe thats wat happen...

My Attack was 520 with dual blades and 60% raw critical chance before WEX. I think that's high enough. But then, that was tobi kadashi and rathian for god's sake, they should go down sub 10 even with crap weapon. I've waited more for T. Glavenus, but at 50 minutes you must be going LR iron to reach that.
