No point in buying PS4 version anymore if you have a PC that can run MHW smoothly
But we don't know how long you've played on ps4 or how many rare decos etc you have, if you play with friends or not because cross play isn't a thing, if you're able/willing to troubleshoot your pc if something prevents you from playing. Only you know if it's worth starting over.
PC will catch up to consoles soon too.
i have about 200+ hours in it as i took a long break cuz i struggled to get into it and this past summer i finally got hooked lol so not really any rare decos
is there a good guide for installing mods as im new to pc so adding mods in games is something im learning lol, i understand what your friend did. i def want mods for fashion looks and all that cool stuff
oh shoot ok, gotta look up a video how to do that lol. ♥♥♥ it might as well get it, all the mods for weapon looks, amor and stuff is a huge reason for switching besides performance (:
It's fairly easy. Before Iceborne, you just dragged the files into a folder that's with your MHW.exe, and then run the game. I think now, most of them use a "mod manager" of sorts called Stracker's Loader. But yeah, a lot of them provide installation instructions that are easy to follow.
One or three mods is fine, but I'd advise against using too many mods together right now though, since Iceborne just launched and they're still releasing patches and updates frequently, which can break your mod compatibility. It can be annoying when you find out you can't run the game with your mods because of a new update, only to uninstall them one by one, so you know what's causing the issue, then waiting for the mod author to update their files so it runs in the new version of the game.
on a ssd all the loadtimes are cut down to 3 seconds. the graphics look stunning, and like someone else said before.. mods!
my most favorite mod right now is Blood EFX, that makes it feel more like older MH titles that had blood effects, adds so much weight to the combat. but also cuter handler face is mandatory :P
reshade with just a little touch of vibrance, HDR and addaptive sharpen can make it look even better.
