How is Ruiner Nergigante easy?
I hear people on this forum saying it is easier than tempered or just regular nergs from the base game. Yet I still see even some of the best players cart to him, some of his moves come out so fast that you require incredible reflexes to avoid, and they do so much damage as well like the sideway swipe into spike combo or the almost instant charging attack. I can't imagine what the tempered one will do if the regular one is already hitting this hard.

I've yet to hit MR 100 mostly because I don't play 12/7 but I'm almost there, the only actual fight I've had with ruin is the one before ishvalda, and assuming there's no special new moves he gets grin that point onward yes he is insanely easy, I didn't even have a favored weapon (was using a hammer because I was anticipating ishi not ruin, plus im a swaxe main I'm not used to slow weapons like hammer and GS) but I still did the entire fight with a hammer and only ever got hit like 4 or 5 times? And usually it was because I over estimated the flinch potential of the hammer.

Ruiner Nergigante is basically nerfed Nergigante.

Nothing is capable of one shotting you.

Normal Nerg will destroy you in one shot if you let it slamma jam on you.
Limamufu 16/fev./2020 às 8:43
I think he has the same difficult as vanilla nergigante. Wait until rajang

Ruiner Nergigante is just Capcom saying "oh, Nergigante's gimmick actually made him a bit easy" and reworking it.

No one is saying he's easier than normal nerginante, he's easier than AT Nerginante cause he doesn't have his cheesy cheat pepega slam, that slam was the only danger about AT Nerginante otherwise he's just the same punching bag.

AT Nerg was crazy. You needed high damage, plus good armor. Killing it took a long time, you couldn't rely on SOS (too risky) so solo was the only way. Hard hits, quick, lethal jump drops..the list goes on. Cutting your teeth on AT Nerg means Ruiner Nerg's moveset isn't unfamiliar, which makes the Ruiner Nerg fight not as tense as AT Nerg. That's why it's easy.
Ruiner shares literally nothing with AT Nerg and all his new moves are unique. You could argue that AT Nerg forces you to react quickly making Ruiner easier than if you hadn't done AT Nerg, but the two aren't directly comparable moveset-wise.
Some of Ruiner Nerg's moves are *reminiscent* of AT Nerg. The surprise factor is gone (at least for me) so I'm not as nervous when fighting Ruiner Nerg. I consider that *easier.*

Watch AT Ruiner get pepega only it shoots a massive AoE and bleeds. I guess it wouldn't really matter since he teleports directly above you, but it'd be nasty in multiplayer. I'm pretty curious how they're going to handle AT's; AT Nerg was clearly intended to be the ultimate challenge for HR, but he wasn't really received that well. I wonder if they even care about design criticism.

Don't have to wait for AT for that, next month got you covered

Well they did made changes to the GL as soon as they saw people were giving them critism cause leveling and the whole system was ♥♥♥♥ at the start.
You couldn't even fix levels or delevel stuff and farming them to lv7 took atleast 3 times more than it does now.
So i think they do just not to every dumbass complaint people have.

It's just a tempered nerginante thought and he has like 150 hp.

i soloed both AT nerg with HR gear and ruiner with MR gear, and i must say they are extremely different. however, i think that if i fought AT nerg with MR gear, i would find him easier than ruiner. AT pepega slam was easy to dodge for me (DB main) but there are still a lot of difficults attacks with ruiner. i still think ruiner divebomb is pathetic.
AT Nerd was a nightmare with his overpunishing moves. He can combo that backwards overhead slam that can kill you faster than you can process the situation

Ruiner on the other hand is just like fighting regular Nerd but with a couple of shiny new moves and with a bleed effect. You see "pros" carting to this supposedly easy monster because he can still get you with a move you may not have been keeping an eye on

His "ultimate" move has been changed and wow is it merciful compared to last time. Instead of only being able to superman dive the instakill dash with no exception, you can just get out of his effective range and score some hits, and it doesn't even hurt as bad

When you die to Ruiner you know exactly what you did wrong and you can learn from it, its not like AT where the AI and moveset is completely unfair

I obviously misplayed when he does the same instant move twice in a row, killing me with no counterplay. Yeah my mistake for doing this pos with anything that isn't Lance. The monster is absolute horsedung, get over it. At least AT Nerg you could react to his slam and roll it, it's way more fair than this bad joke the devs thought'd be funny. Ruiner is no skill all luck, and regardless of everything he dies in 5 minutes tops. People liking this garbage might wanna visit a sanatorium.

DBs would have an easy time, the problem was with any weapon that had any significant recovery time on its attacks. I farmed AT Nerg tickets with HH and fighting him involved baiting out the double paw swipe to interrupt it, trying to punish any other move was putting yourself at risk. I pity the HR hunters who are doing AT Nerg with nerfed Temporal.
