Farming for Shield Jewel 2 (Outside of Melder and Event Quests)

Hey all.
With the Festival concluding (and so as the Steel and Silver Melding Tickets), and with it the Lavasioth Event, I was wondering if anyone has any tips or recommendations for farming for the elusive Guard Up deco.
At the moment, I am just doing HR T2 Investigations.
Any useful info will be much appreciated.

Would probably be easiest to do tempered elders in HR. Get hero stream stones, make warped feystones and pray.

I've been doing that too and I've ran out of streamstones to meld. Haha!

0.42% drop chance. Dunno what to tell ya =o. I took the opportunity while lavasioth was around.

If you dont have Iceborne, lavasioth is you best way.
If you have it, just do the elders tempered MR investigation...
I got a few attack jewel from that...

Go play something else for 2 weeks until next event hits, then spam that tempered lavisioth event like your life depends on it.
Only took me about 6-8 runs to get a shield. Killing him is a doddle, the annoying part is making him leap from pool to pool so he drops more jewels.
Easy to get 25+ jewels per run if you make him think he's cool (hot).

Edit: I know that's not what you wanted to hear but it's the only sane way to do it.
(My 700+ hours with no shield jewel as a lance main shows my insanity.)

behemoth has a pretty good feystone table, if you are lucky you get nearly as much as from the fish

just mod it in, its what i did. i have nearly 1k hours played and havent gotten a single shield jewel and i farmed that lavisoth even too for a day, not to mention farming tons of tempered mr investigations

Cheating is a choice, but not a good one. You feel better when you earn something rather than it be given to you.

I ended up farming Lavasioth after all.
It finally dropped after almost an entire day of farming!

The festival is back. I just spent my first batch of 40 silver tickets for this one and ah... no success. I already used like 10 batches worth in total last festival.

Now, I'm not a Lance main. But I'm proficient with the Lance, HBG and SnS which all have shields. So a shield jewel would be very welcome. It's pretty much the only important jewel level 3 and under that I'm still missing. I intend to grind and spend lots of fuel this festival and hope for the best.

More than 50k fuel down the pipe - nothing interesting. Only 2 golden tickets, I think previous fest dropped them more.
