Does rare endemic life respawn?

I am at a point in game where i should help research a "mysterious" animal in Hoarfrost Reach.
The thing is that i already captured it before i got the critical bounty.
So my question is after spending hours on expeditions if it will respawn eventually?
Having Zoomaster from the Canteen didn't help so far either.
Any insight or tips would be awesome!

If it's for the golden masque you need zoo master and clear day time (biologist stacks but only lasts 10 mins if you can get both even better). Run through all the spawns over and over after scaring them away. Make sure you get a good look.

Thanks! Now that the Event Quests are back online, i have done the Pearl Snatchers Quest and it appeared! Finally! So getting them more then once is possible after all.
