how to kill nergigante???????????????????????

okay am i mistaken about this HORRIBLE designed monster???

if he stand still - he damages you
if he moves - he damages you

his whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ body damages you no matter WHAT he does...

enrages on 1-2 hits, body parts cant be broken but gets invincible if you hit it to many times...

how the hell are you suppossed to kill this ridicously horrible designed piece of garbage?????

he was almost dead and then almost his entire body becomes invincible except tail, but everytime you stand behind him he just tail whips you and its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fast you cant even attack it....

When he's low to the point he's going back to it's nest to sleep. Drop a few bomb barrel while at it. That last area he's in is kinda the worst. So those barrel gonna help taking him down faster.

If you are using CB, maybe get some Guard armor skill to guard point Nergigante attack to then counter with SAED. But yeah that may require some practice to pull off (Even i am currently learning how to use CB correctly lol) ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsSmn61yQfI

With enough def and some guard armor skill and awesome timing. Even it's dive bomb can be blocked lol

Juega con cornamusa Xeno-Nergal para evitar rujidos del Nergigante para ti y todo tu equipo, fue el unico modo en el que yo logre vencerlo por que luego aunq uno sea muy muy bueno esquivando nada le quita lo pendejo a tu Team, asi q mejor juge de soporte

Eh who know, just sharing a tutorial i found not too long ago and had some details i didn't know about the weapon. Only OP can do something out of the informations we're giving him. If he don't ... Well that's too bad :/

Probs one if the best designed monsters in the damn game... at nerg has weird hit boxes but the others work fine... at nerg capcom just dragged the radius of his hits twice the size of him... artificial buff that doesnt make sense... id rather have mpre damage than silly hit boxes

Yeah that's the only thing that is annoying about Nerf... His damn Hitbox. Even if they fixed that, i doubt he would need a damage buff to still thrash peoples lol.

Like for example when he dive bomb, if you are under him, you obviously shouldn't be hit if he's diving further away lol. But hey, in the end, we just have to deal with it xP

His spikes will get stronger if you don't break them while they're white. Once he gets black spikes his damage increases, and once his whole body is covered he will do the Spinning Tackle of Destruction, which will reset his spikes. Nergigante does no elemental damage whatsoever, same with Kushala. Dragon defense will not help you out here. Additionally, his elemental hitzones aren't really that great, I personally think physical weapons work better. When he stands on all fours and does a great big roar that zooms the camera out, he gets faster(think 5% for each bigg roar). The best strat for Nergigante is to adopt his own playstyle: careful aggression. Though Nergigante's goal is to be on top of you, YOU need to be on top of Nergigante. Use moves with short animations and less commitment and steadily chip away at his white spikes as fast as you can. Most of the time, going under his belly is a safe zone, but if you get at his butt he will tailslam. Once he grows spikes on an area they will get an aoe after the first part of the attack. Headslam will now shoot spikes when he raises his head back up. Arm slam will shoot spikes as he pulls his arm out of the earth. You can I-frame some of these but it is 100% not recommended. And you can dodge the roars, which is important because Nerg and most elder dragons can combo off of them ez. The moment his head moves up you can roll and be safe. You can flash him out of the Hurricane Tackle but this is only recommended if you don't think you can escape, as with the black spikes you won't get any damage while he's downed anyways. You can mount him, but it's best for when he's just reset his spikes, otherwise the time you waste with it will just allow him to grow more of them.

I hope this helps your hunt. Nergigante is my favorite elder dragon as he subverts the idea of an elder fight entirely, and I hope you will come to understand this spiky boye like I do.

Pepega slam is cheap, but everything else is fine(imo). And the trip from him running(same thing Teo has) is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Its the spikes that hit u from dive bomb not actually nerg they shatter out and aoe but at nerg hits are like triple the radius

He's weak to cuddling. Get right in there and lay hands on the big guy, he's already got those little blush marks under his eyes, any more close contact and he'll be so embarrassed he'll just leave the locale.

all the thing you guys are saying does not change anything at all... everytime hes almost dead he goes enrage 99% of the time, keeps charging, his attacks has INSANE area of effect meaning you cant dodge his charge, you cant stand under him anymore, blocking with CB still takes around 30% of your HP its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid to look at

you can guardpoint every single attack of nerg. even the roars. your problem is not nergigantes design. its about you not knowing how to fight him.

take your time. learn his moves/patterns and start looking for openings and punishes. you can also learn how to create openings yourself (guardpoints can lead to very good openings for example)

it sounds like you are blinded by your rage, so calm down and see how you can improve

Edit: your positioning can also make the fight easier or harder. try to stand in front of him and hit the head and his white spikes. try to never stand under him.

you could also wait with mounting him until he is enraged since you seem having trouble in that situation
