What this means is you can have two loadouts, each with different armour pieces, using your only 3 vitality gems. When you go between the loadouts the decorations will move accordingly.
Say you use loadout 1 with the vitality in your rathalos chest. Until you use loadout 2 with the vitality moving to kirin legs, it will stay on the chest piece. Thus, if you manually swap too the kirin legs it will not have the vitality.
Sorry if this isn't very clear, it's late and I'm three sheets too the wind here.
So if you set another loadout that take decos from an existed loadout, the one got taken won't be missing any decos when you use it, because it's a profile not actual equipment save
the decos pretty much stay on this armor unless you use them in another armor.
so if you had 3 attack decos and you put them on a set, you won't see it in your box as just decos, its still on the armor.
what you can do, is grab them off a set and use them in another set. if you have both registered then the game knows to grab them wherever they are located and put them on the set you are loading.
pretty much, if you are looking for deco's they might not be in your box, they might be on a previous armor set
