Nice! I don't remember seeing that quest in the list, but I may have missed it. Going to check now. So I just stand there and let him throw up on me!? :)
You have plenty of time.
Just do what events show up on SOS, so you have a group for whatever monster it is.
- Gajalaka Outbreak! - High Rank Queen Beetle armour
- Vespoid Infestation! - Low Rank Queen Beetle armour
- USJ: Gold Star Treatment - Azure Star Palico gear
- USJ: Blazing Azure Stars - Azure Star gear
- Where Sun Meets Moon - Downy Crake Dual Blades + Hammer
- Timberland Troublemakers - Bristly Crake Hammer
- Every Hunters Dream - Wyvern Ignition Greatsword, currently the best Greatsword
- Wiggle Me This - Wiggler Hat
- Scrapping With The Shamos - Sealed Eyepatch
- Egg Lovers United - Kulu Ya-Ku headgear
- Midnight Mayhem - Shooting Star and Sapphire Star Lance
- A Flash In The Pan - Shadow Shades head armour
- A Rush Of Blood - Mega Man Palico gear
- A Royal Pain - Mosswine Mask + Faux Felyne layered headgear
- Mosswinin' and Dinin' - Mosswine Mask + Faux Felyne layered headgear
- Kings Know No Fear - Wiggler Hat + Sealed Eyepatch layered headgear
- Code: Red - Dante armour set + Dante's Devil Sword Chargeblade
- SDF: Silent, Deadly and Fierce - Bayek layered armour and the Assassins mantle
There's also many grindable quests, which I'm not going to list, but they offer various rewards like armour spheres, above average decoration drop rates, meal vouchers etc. Also the Arch Tempered Event quests which all provide top tier gear and most of the time layered armour as a reward for beating it. You can't afford to miss those if you're serious about reaching the true end game. Also for posterity sake, A Visitor From Eorzea (Extreme) is needed for the Drachen layered armour set and some Guild Card stuff, and Contract: Woodland Spirit is necessary for the Geralt and Ciri layered armour, Ciri's armour set, and the Witcher SnS and Dual Blades too.
lol I forgot that was a thing for PC - I gotta get on that right now!
I kinda regret doing it, personally.
You know a fight is annoying when slaying Luna is the easy part.
EDIT: whelp, now I know why no one ever talks about and/or wears the Bayek Layered armor - it's really ugly.
I mean, I would have, had it actually provided the Ghillie effect to stop them running away and also had I not already caught everything before it released. To its credit though that movement speed boost is kinda worth it when you're doing gathering runs and stuff. Sort of.
I use it mostly for those Tempered track missions and collecting fucium and coral crystal, lol.
And yeah Bayek armour is not so great. Why not Ezio or Altair?
-"Every Hunters Dream" for the wyvern ignition impact
-"Greeting the Gluttons" for free vouchers?
-"Daily Limited Bounties"
I did this a few times last night. Holy cow, 30 decos per run! Even if they're mostly level 1, that's awesome.
Good thing I had been preparing myself to do the tempered Kirin quest (Anja bow and proper gear) because you have to do it and be HR 50 before you can do Greatest Jagras. I ended up beating Kirin last night too. Very tense!
Edit: I think Greeting the Gluttons is a permanent event quest...maybe? I feel like it's been there since I started playing.
If you can wait build a LBG Styx with water ammo then slaughter "The name's lavasioth" unlike greatest jargas which is enhanced, this one is just a big Lavasioth so it's much easier
Also decos level isn't everything, it's just the slot, rarity is what you want, for example attack jewel is rarity 7 level 1 is one of the most rarest jewel
