elemental charge blade build
Anyone have a strong alatreon armor elemental chargeblade build? all elemental build on youtube is safi armor, but the skill of the safi armor is bit scary for a charge blade learner like me, and I heard that alatreon armor can make a fine elemental build too and a bit easier to use. I try to make the build but it doesnt feel strong.

I'd imagine it'd be 3pc Ala 2pc At Velk (for CE) (guessing Velk head, Ala arms for PP, and mix'n'match the rest to taste). Throw on Hard Res jewels for all elements, DA 6, WEX, CE, and Agi if you can fit it. I would personally also run Evade Extender because CB is so slow.

Once you're comfortable with that, you could move on to the lower defense but might damage 2pc AT Velk (CE) 2 pc fatty (to unlock Agi 7 + great skills/slots) + Ala arms (if you prefer power prolonger) or Kulve Taroth boots (if you prefer moar damage)

Could also maybe go Silverlos for TCE? Not great defence and kinda bad slots/skills tho.

Honestly the standard 4piece fatalis with velk gamma boots and a Kulve Taroth weapon is very good. That is:
Fatalis Beta Helm
Fatalis Beta Chest
Fatalis Beta Gloves
Fatalis Alpha Belt
Velkana Gamma Boots
Kulve Taroth Elemental weapon with crit element
Agitator Amulet

Now with Decos you just want the last two levels of agitator, Crit damage, Element Damage, and coalessence. The pants here have a perfect spot for your 2slot charged blade deco as well.

Ok, this is for the elemental build general idea.
skills that boost elemental damage are:
  • alatreon (2~3 pieces)
  • Namielle (2 pieces or 1 piece with Safi weapon)
  • Critical Element (2 pieces, 1 piece with Safi weapon, or 0 piece with KT weapon)
  • True Critical Element (4 pieces or 3 pieces with Safi weapon)
  • Safi (3 pieces or 5 pieces)
There is no point for 4 pieces of Namielle unless you have more than 600 elemental damage because of the elemental damage cap.

So you do any combination of those skills as long as it is within the limitation.
For examples:
  • alatreon, Namielle and Critical Element
  • True Critical Element and alatreon
  • Fatails with Namielle
  • Fatails with Critical Element
  • Safi and Namielle
  • Namielle with Critical Element and use rest of the room with fill other skills
  • and the list goes on...
It all comes down to "what deco do you have?", "what other skills are must-have for you?"
Keep in mind that full Safi with Critical Element has the highest damage, but the damage is not everything. You need to ask yourself "how much will you trade the damage for other skills?"

I have a damage google sheets damage calculator and you are free to use it.
If you want to make your own but do not know the calculation, feel free to ask.

i don't think OP has fatalis set yet hence why he asked for a build with ala pieces but maybe I'm wrong :mhwhappy:

Well, if this is the case then I would do something similar but with the old Teo + Brach set up.
Teo Helm
Brach Chest
Teo Gloves
Teo waist
Brach Boots
KT weapon of choice

Oh , I do have fatalis set, I just think fatalis set do not go well with elemental build. And I’m pretty sure it easier to farm fatalis set than alatreon set too :). Like I always see at least 2 fatalis quests when I respond to sos and barely see any alatreon quest, so I just join those fatalis quests and easy material :). I had full fatalis set before I even got a full safi and alatreon set

@OP

In that case, just go with Fatalis. It is comfy, but the slots are great to address CB builds which are generally deco starved. If you are playing SAED style (eg. against Teostra), sticking with full Fatalis is fine. If you are playing Savage Axe style (eg. against Alatreon), use Escadora Armguards Alpha+ that comes with Power Prolonger. It is great for someone learning CB.

Just need to hit lvl6 for the elemental attack you are themed. Then Focus to lvl3 if you are using SAED, or Power Prolonger 3 (via the Escadora Armguards) if you are using Savage Axe. Then get Agitator, Critical Boost and Expert to as high of a level as you can.

The thing is with Kjarr CBs, you generally have to be content with White Sharpness. Fatalis Transcendence set bonus helps a lot to prevent it from dipping into Blue Sharpness.

If you are looking at getting personal best times, Safi is the way to go.
