Does might pill give a permanent boost?

On the wiki it says "Might Pill can be consumed from the Item Bar while in the field to increase Raw (Physical) Attack Power by 25 for 20 seconds or until carting or Quest completion"

So which is it? Does the boost last for 20 seconds or until carting/quest completion?

The answer is yes. It lasts for 20 seconds, or will end if you cart or complete the hunt before that.

I think what It means is that it lasts for 20 seconds maximum. It's saying it could be less than 20 seconds if you get carted or complete the quest.

Fyi, the only things that give a 'permanent' buff that only goes away with cart or hunt completion are:

Max potion (HP max increased)
Ancient potion (HP max increased, stamina does decrease over time)
Demondrug
Armordrug
Food buffs
Food skills (though some food skills like felyne booster are not permanent)

Pretty much everything else has to be reapplied at some point.

the upgrade version, Mega Armorskin and Mega Demondrug, are also 'permanent' buffs.
Powertalon, Powercharm, Armortalon and Armorcharm are permanent buffs as long as they are in your item box.

Yes, you must have them in your inventory during the hunt. (not sitting in the box)
