Set/Build tool - Athena's A.S.S.
I haven't seen it anywhere on this forum, so here's a link to download a very useful tool :

Athena's Armor Set Search : https://www.facebook.com/AthenasArmorSetSearch/

You can search any skill and the optimal way to get it, the tool gives you all the possibilities too.

Have fun theorycrafting !

Honestly, with the low amount of armors and how skill works in World, I don't feel like Athena's A.S.S is as useful as it is in previous entries of the franchise.

ah, yes.almost forgot about that after i started with MHW.
it's really helpful, and PC players have the option to turn off sets from events/DLC that didn't land on PC yet.

thanks for reminding me about this.

Tbh find a skill > at the smithy press C or whatever option you play with and you can sort / pinpoint on the skill you want. :)

What the tool does is : you select the skills you want > It shows you all the set possibilities to get said skills.
I use the set builder from Honeyhunterworld. What does this add to it?

As someone pointed out with the low amounts of armor sets we have in this games compared to older games it's not as usefull as it could be.

I wish this program would read the decorations and the materials from the game in real time, like edengineer for elite dangerous

How does it compare to honeyhunterworld?

My bad, I didn't notice the other comment. But could you elaborate, in what way is it more user friendly?

Just use it if you want to know why.
It's not like you had anything better to do, considering you're browsing the Steam forums.

I would have to download Athena. Honeyhunter is accessable from a browser. just being more user friendly doesn't exactly convince me it's worth it to have a separate program, unless the features are significantly better.

It's very hard to optimize sets on PC. Very few 2 slot pants, pants in general have very few options, Limited options for bow now that you mention it, DD too, anything crit focused has very very few options especially if its elemental.

It's like 600ko, don't need to open a browser, and it's much better, in my opinion.. Best is to try and see if it's to your taste.
