Any tips for Tempered Teostra?

I don't have any trouble with the rest of the Tempered Elders but Teostra kicks my ass then takes me to his room for a long uncomfortable night. I have a 5 rewards 2 faint Tempered Teostra and we lost pretty much instantly lol.

lol yeah, Lance is my go to for difficult fights but I don't have the Guard Up decoration yet. I do have quick sheath though so that helps. I could play Evade Lance if I wanna be ballsy

Lance + Guard Up if you keep dying to his supernova. If you die to other attacks, put in some defensive skills like Earplugs/Health Boost for better survival chances. If you have randoms dying left and right, play solo, good randoms can be rare

Yeah, I usually just play with friends but last night one of them got one shotted to a pounce then afterwards he roared so I couldn't evade the explosion from below me then I got instanted KOd and died to a follow up. The Super Nova isn't the issue lol. I have way too much time in 4U to die to a super nova. It's just how fast he is and how much damage he can do with something like a tackle. I'm probably going to go in with an Evade, Guard 3, Max Earplugs Lance set.

Try LBG then. With that you can fight at a safe distance and you sheath pretty fast so you should always be able to pull out the flash pod (or to superman dive if it's too late for that), and you also have para/sleep for crowd control. It should be easy to build a good set without rare decos.

The most anoying thing he does is bump you with his nose doing 70%hp damage. When hes aflame I tend to just let him run around until he spends his nova. He can nova attack at anytime while on fire and it takes too long to sheath a wep in time to flash him out of it. So when hes not burning get in close and hit as much as you can. When burning just hang back till he novas or you flash kill his nova. Dont forget your flame mantle and or vitality mantle.

I use LS and can kill him in about 5-10 minutes. I usually just keep running to HIS LEFT side, I also always take vitality and fireproof mantle... less time I spend healing, the better.

Just poke him in the sides, he can't do anything if you're not right in front of him.
Don't stand in the bright yellow clouds because they make you go boom and as soon as the framerate tanks, sheathe and dive.

He can do almost nothing if you stay to his side.

Have fire resistance

Get RNG cluster HBG set/build with Dark Devourer and kill it under 3 min. Just like the other tempered elder dragons.

fire resistance around 20 amd fireproof mantle shoul be enough.
you should survive supernova solo even when you fail evade it

co op make teostra significaly stronger. so higher resistance is required

tbh doing tempered elders is better solo

Uragan helm, Uragan Coil, Uragaan boots, Basil chest, Teostra (A) gloves

Three pieces of Uragaan gives you guard up. Basil chest gives you 2 guard and the boots give 2 guard. That becomes a very strong defensive set. Teo gloves A (everything else B) gives you 2 weakness exploit with one small gem slot.

You will have room to put in some vitality gems.

Use the Handicraft charm to keep your sharpness a little while longer.


If you are not good at hitting only critical areas then I suggest you try the minds eye gem (which hilariously enough works better for melee).


This armor set Also has crazy fire resistance and you can bump that up with 3x fire resistance gems.

Lance or gunlance is fun vs T. Teo, also blast resist 3 and fireproof mantle. Guard Up can be useful if you can't escape the supernova.
