Get the lvl 3 charm for leaving bug corpses and go hit HR hornetaurs in the Rotten Vail till you get investigations. Rinse repeat till you get what you need. There's really not anything anyone else can do for you.

They don't die if you hit them light enough (for 40 or something, forget which)..slinger ammo (Stones) works for the most part..or did for me. I downed a few (on a diff mission) with my B-chaingun mode (forget what it's called) on my teo cannon.

Try hitting them with slingshots

Try an investigation for them, you can often get 5 rewards for killing like 10 or so.

Spamming your slinger's capture net at them works too.
