Where's HR Kirin?

I know there's a quest to fight him in LR, but where's the HR version? Is there one, or does Kirin only have a LR and a tempered variant?

Taking a guess here, but maybe find him via expedition? I haven't gotten that far in high rank yet, but I figured it would be that if you haven't unlocked him normally yet.

after a quick google search (literally typing "mhw kirin hr") i found a video here the tl:dw

Step 1 - Be Hunter Rank 14 or Above. (Quest Requires HR 14)
Step 2 - Go To Coral Highlands.
Step 3 - FInd Old Footprints and/or Electrified Fur. (Zones 5 , 10-13)

According to that you need at least rank 3 kirin investigation and have completed the LR Kirin quest.

Kirin has HR, tempered and arch tempered version.

If i remember it correctly the HR kirin quest is against 2 kirins? It should show up if you have defeated LR kirin and collected a bunch of fur in HR or some jaz.

You don't remember correctly. The only quest with two Kirin is a LR event quest.

nope dragon elders dont appear in expeditions
you can only fount their tracks

Can't remember how I unlocked it, just saw it pop up in my Optional quests after killing Xeno.
