Haven’t played GU, so anyone want to fill me in on Hypers?
Tempered and AT don’t add any new moves, so it’s just the same monster but it hits harder. Not the best, but as long as it isn’t that Wystone BS.
They also enraged all the time so flash spamming is no longer so viable
Sure apex is kinda annoying but on one hand you're rewarded with faster kills for knowing your weapon and monster better which i like.
Hypers were fine, i liked how they sped up when attacking with the virus'd parts which could throw you off for not paying attention.
Arch Tempered.... disappointing, boring, a step backwards from hyper and apex. It's a lazy design because of the barebones way MHW has been created. Relies on gimmicks for difficulty (ED ultimates, aura's etc)
Older games did difficulty much better and ive dropped MHW and gone to MHGU because of it..
but sometimes, if you do too much bad plays, you end up waiting for your sharpening stones to reload because you bounce too much or basically do nothing.
But at least Apex make you feel like you are in a delicate position most of the time, it give you adrenaline
