I think it's 3, but you have to space them out otherwise the monster will gain the resistance to the flash.

You can flash Tempered Elder Dragons only 4 times.
Then flashes are useless. :steamfacepalm:
Can use for fireworks, though... :steamhappy:

It's 4 and they will gain flash immunity regardless of how much you space them.

Do we need blindsider to proc 4th? I never see a 4th. Or probably i am not paying attention enough in multiplayer.

It's always 4 for all tempered monsters. Blindsider does nothing for it.

but i did test to flash ED just now, failed to flash it 3/4 times at first, but once Teostra going back to its nest, i was able to ffash it down

Sometimes when retreating, they might be immune to flashing. But, as you've said yourself, after reaching the spot - available for flashing again (depending on how many flashes were used before).
