farcaster idea
are you annoyed by monsters running away ? wouldn't be nice if you could pre select any point on the map where farcaster can take you ?

aren't you a bad hunter, if your monster manages to limp away?

ok some of them are pretty quick, but normaly anounce the region change through a roar, which gives you the opening through dodgeroll to use a flashbang and simply cap.

there is also literally a camp near to all sleeping areas

In reality it's not that simple. Most monsters will stay at the same area for about 5 minutes before running away. However, sometimes when the monster figures it is fighting outside of main arena (aka at places like hallway etc), it will flee to another area which will be farther than any adjacent areas. Sometimes turf war happens and both monsters run away, sometimes a higher tier monster comes and the lower tier flees (often happens in guiding land). Not to mention the fact that they have to f*cking annouce "Aight Imma head out" every time the AI decided to, and it is possible to have 2 monster chaining roars at each other for 30 seconds stun-locking the player.

The monster AI is extremely crappy, but player do get their tools to counter the monster fleeing. Traps, Flash, Clutch Claw, Earplug etc. And tbh most monster's won't even take more than 10 minutes if you know what you're doing...

Ingredients gathering, critter capture, monster research, side quests, sharpenning, healing and buffing, cloaks and tools cooldowns gaining allies if solo, there's TONS of reason to travel the map normally, other than chasing a monster.

Most of what you're suggesting can be/has been solved in some way by either camps or raider ride, monsters running is only really an issue in Ancient Forest since area changes can take forever

No cuz i usually kill my monsters in 5 min base game and around the same time in IB cuz im not that bad?

usually when a (mostly flying) monster runs and its not nearby you can fast travel to a camp nearest anyway. thats enough.

farcaster also acts like a panic button.

there are cases theres not enough time to drink a potion without being interrupted if you are very low on life and monster is on your toes, using farcaster is a nice way to avoid a cart.
casting farcaster is faster than any healing potion.
