What Do I Do?!

This is my first time posting a non-group related discussion, but I'm getting desperate and I NEED help, or at least advice! So, I'm on the final mission of the story and have tried a grand total of 4-5 times to beat Xeno'jiiva and have failed every single time! Not because I die, I just either run out of time or if I use the SOS Flare my help dies. I've tried both of my strongest weapons on this thing and it just isn't enough somehow! I'm a Switch Axe and Heavy Bowgun user so my two strongest weapons are the Nergal Gash and Teostra's Artillery. If anyone is willing to help me in-game or just give me advice, I would greatly appreciate it!

Dont use Nergal Gash, use the Jho SA, its much better, but youll need to use a handi craft charm to make it really good;
My only advice is that when it flies in the air, use pods to shoot it in the chest, the big glowy red thingy, 2-3 hits instantly downs it, and if you have the super charge in sword form, latch onto it's head when it gets downed

Use whatever, just aim at the front legs and head. Bring nullberries to get rid of dragon blight. Xeno is weakest to fire so if you can bring a strong fire weapon such as the anja bow, you can do some major damage to it.

Thank you, JPM, but funny enough I downed it with one pierce pod, lol. As for the Deviljho axe, I only chose the Nergal Gash over it because it's sharper, I farmed Nergigante to the point where I already have max research and I really like my current charm, the Health Charm III

Show Me De Wei, I actually looked it up before fighting this thing and its 2 stars weak to every element, so I was doing great damage with my Teostra gun and I always carry certain items with me just because I never know and nulberries is one of those items. :D

Oh, sorry JamesFace. I'm about to enter the game right now. You don't need to worry about Session ID because it won't be private and the preferred quests will be Assignments.

One thing I would say is pick up some stones at the start. There are 4 or 5 boulders u can drop on him in the first room. Just kite him under them all and shoot.

If you switch the Health Charm to handicraft, your Tyrannos will be miles better than Nergal; As inviting as HP boosts are, dedicating HP skills will hold back your SA's strengths; from one SA user to another, take off those training wheels and learn to dodge n git gud, if you can learn to dodge well with an SA, youre better than like 90% of players

Hmm dun goofed earlier comment. Meant to say take anja bow specifically cause it has really high fire element and decent attack for a bow while also being ranged so there is little down when attacking while melee weapons can't do much when it flies away or dash across the map.

Hes right there, the idea should be to not take the damage rather than prepare for it.

If it's in the air, shoot pods at its chest, it'll fall down.

Damage the front legs to make it fall over.

Take the fire mantle with you, it decreases the fire damage and makes you immune to the burning ground.

Use the vespoid Palico.

Buff yourself with element up (L) and have 200hp.

Upgrade your armor, I still see people with below 400 armor running around in T3 or behemoth.

You always need to post your SessionID.

Sessions search and SoS is region locked. So if they arnt living close to you it wont be found by search.
