Name's Lavasioth / Beetle Ticket

Hello, wanted to farm some layered armor, so from that ressource :

The quest Name's Lavasioth should be giving me a Beetle ticket but I don't find one, is my layered armor list not up to date ?

Also I receive a bazillions decoration doing this quest 'lot more than on first iceborne quest) should I farm it or is it mostly about low lv deco ?

names lavasioth has vastly increased decoration drops as the reward for being forced to fight a lavasioth.

the beetle tickets have a high % chance to be rewarded at least 1, but not guaranteed

most of layered armor need item that can only be farmed on Guiding Lands
if you haven't unlock it yet you just need proceed the IB story untill you unlock it
the add more to LR/HR layered armor too bot only for MR one

said here you want layered armor based on Laasioth drop, so probably what you are lacking is materials from Lavasioth at Guiding Lands vulcano area

go be the game first before you think about your stylish i suggest cause layered things usually farmed after you finish the story game just like how base game work

i don't think you can get good stuff from MR1 event quest tbh
even for end game to get decent deco required a lot of passion and dedicating hours of slaying the gdm kitty ,tho not most all deco are worst it's just how you use it, still some rrly are rare and hard to farm but i sure you it's best of best deco out there for the rere one jsut use what ever you had at your disposal and clear the story on IB then you can enjoy hellish grin after that

thanks a lot ! I beat the base game, didn't want to jump straight into IB so I farmed charms, and weapons, thing is I discovered I liked a lot farming on this game when it came to end of the base game, so I spent looot of time just having fun before starting IB, now that I am playing Iceborne I carry on farming diverse stuff just to make the expansion longer (doing all optional quest before carrying on the story, farming items I like like the tobi kadachi scarf etc... just how I enjoy the game atm)

OP is not talking about Laasiothis layered armor, he is talking about layered armor of Beetle Ticket, that one has nothing to do with Guiding Lands.
Don't mislead him.

Indeed, what you need for each piece of the gear is:

- 4x Beetle Ticket
- 2x Great Hornfly

Great Hornflies is what you are probably missing(if I understand you correctly). Those can be obtained from either Tailraider Safari( https://mhworld.kiranico.com/items/l9Wdo/great-hornfly ) or the Botanical Research Center as byproduct of the "farm". Bug/Honey items should do the trick but I would suggest putting in an item of all three categories to get that critter as I am not 100% sure. If you play the game "normally", you should automatically get the Hornfly without ever noticing..
