Only if you like transmog. There's only like 2-3 Layered Armor in the game to change your appearance with, including that Deluxe Samurai Set.

I found that the only reason to truly get Deluxe edition is for the gestures.
Ninja Star and Sumo both can deal damage, there's videos on them too if you search a bit. That alone would be worth it for me since it would be something for fun like shadowboxing or kicking enemies or other hunters.
Aside from that it's not worth it for pure cosmetics in my opinion.

Not really. I got it on xbox and the only thing i use are the samurai arms. The samurai armor is cosmetic that changes the look of whatever you are wearing. I used the arms for a few sets, but that is all.

The Fair Wind Charm, from preorder, is useful for the entire story... 15-20 hours. not a game breaker or over powered, but i used it until end-game. decent little bonus.

The real hunt begins after the story mode. I've never been too consumed by MH storylines. It is all about the endgame gear optimization and cutting down on hunt times. That and fun...fun is good.

Story mode is only the tutorial

Was checking out how long to beat and reflects 54 hours for main story, including extras 90 hours

On GMG the Deluxe isn't much more than the reg version. I got the Deluxe there just cause it was like a couple dollar difference. I certainly wouldn't pay $15 difference for cosmetics, otherwise.
