RF Sticky 2 Ammo VS. Sticky 3 Ammo

Which one's got more stunning power overall, assuming we're running Slugger Level 5? I've got the Furious Rajang HBG for Sticky 3, but the rapid-fire on Sticky 2 for Fatalis LBG seems worthwhile too.

Sticky 3 is better IIRC and also the best gun for sticky ammo is still aquashot I believe. Then again, I could be wrong because I have not touched sticky for over a year now and I despise sticky users (no offense to you OP).

None taken! I main Chargeblade, I just saw someone using Furious Rajang HBG sticky and decided, why not? Question though, Aquashot vs. Furious Rajang HBG, is Aquashot really better? I'd rather not try to farm for Safi gear again.

Hey that's pretty handy, thanks! Think I'll stick with HBG since I don't wanna farm for Aquashot. Not really looking speedrun stuff, just whatever is comfortable and effective.

To be as blunt as possible, rapid fire sticky 2s are a trap. They are locked to recoil 4 and have terrible DPS because of that, and they are essentially the same as shooting 1 sticky 3 (when accounting for both shots landing, obviously the total DPS is inferior due to fire rate).

Aqua shot will still outdo rajang HBG, but you have to use evade reload, if you don't like that style then Rajang is still good DPS, just not as high.

That being said, if your willing to sacrifice even more Dps, you can use the Zorah Magdaros HBG, you will still have +2 recoil, and long reload (a ledge will speed that up though ;D)

But the Zorah HBG also has para 2, sleep 2, exhaust 1 and 2, poison 2, and recovery ammo, you can be the ultimate support and lock down the monster with more then just stuns ;D
