I stopped CB somewhere mid HR then picked it up again recently. I was surprised when I found out about the Axe Charge mode. And the rotation of the blade is just so cool.
I think if I had to pick a favourite between the three though, Switch Axes win by just a little bit.
I go weeb
Bow is super mobile and effective with most hunts, also like it when I play coop with the wife (have a support spec for that) to help out with healing etc and better see what she's doing.
Hammer is just plain satisfying in slides and the charged-up swing combo for knocking on downed or sleeping heads. Only wish I could turn off the helicopter move, but easy enough to avoid. Downside is really fast / flying monsters, but that's when the bow shines.
Used to main Greatsword in older MH games for similar reasons as the hammer - loved the weight and impact. Like it in World as well, but yeah. Hammer and Bow.
That said, nothing is quite as satisfying as landing a Charged Brutal Big Bang, then following up with a clutch claw Midair Spinning Bludgeon on the Hammer. It's what I go to after a hunt goes poorly and I want to engage in some stress relief. Unga bunga.
