Fatalis is more for comfy builds than pure DPS, and it's what I use.
Silver win with ez entry, KT Safi win with over-all field performance, KT Fatty win in utility
They all ended up in the same damage in practice field (aka same in theory). They only have 1~3 damage diff.
In detail,
On bow, Ture ele crit give 1.55x and ele crit give 1.35x on elemental damage dealt.
So silver is heavier on elemental output, lowering your damage rely on good HZV as long as it proc WEX and have a 20~25+ element weakness.
The only issue is even mix with a Safi bow your gear is still not rich enough to pack every skills in, forcing you to cut down supportive skills and git-gud.
KT Safi was once the top damage setup since the safi set give 150 element and 40% crit. In field, you can stack crit eye with that plus the base affinity on weapon and reach a flat 90%+ crit, even allowing you to skip tenderizing without losing too much.
Only downfall is the bleeding from safi made the setup only suit for the good ones. Though this can be relieved via health aug.
KT fatty just specked for itself: a tons of slots to pack everything in one, simple.
In general this is what everyone is using,That even you're using a KT weapon you're still physical based since your skills are all boosting that side, you will under perform once target's HVZ suck.
Att boost is very un-obvious on small motion value, go practice field and quick test the relationship on "Every 10 att added, this move will gain X amount of damage" on a 80hvz.
On bow that is 10 att for 1 damage per arrow, meaning in battle field, your hard traded lv7 att from what ever skill you ditched will turn into possibly 1.2~1.8 per arrow.
TLDR:
If you lazy, go raw or KT fatty.
If you serious and big brain, check HVZ & Ele weakness https://mhworld.kiranico.com/monsters
Make builds based on the proportion of physic : element and field needs.
Silver Los armour is just outright terrible. You are literally getting an entire amour set for 1 set bonus and no other useful skills.. It has useless skills and terrible slots. Avoid it like the plague.
Ye olde meta sets. Mostly 4 pce fatty with some azure age and silverlos mix.
