Iai slash and how to do it?

Looked it up and I really want to give it a go. But I have no idea how to do it. I try to do the special slash but my guy starts to sheath his blade normally.

So I'm at a lost here if imma be honest

you need to own iceborne to be able to perform it, then in the combo guide in the game a whole new tab of potential moves will be unlocked for each weapon, which will show how to perform it

You must own Iceborne and it must be done after an attack like foresight slash. You press roll button + special attack button together.

Play through the base game first. The DLC takes a whopper of a jump when you get it and I must admit, it was very annoying.

Hope you guys don't use LS in multi game if you haven't been master it. They spam slash, foresight anywhere, I'm using bow, keep distance from monster, still being knocked back by them, should I use brace skill as range, lol.
