I should be the sort to wait for the PC release, but I've already pre-ordered the special edition switch and pro controller. What has Monster Hunter done to me, I hardly recognize myself.
Sarcasm aside, you do realize that companies just announce when it's a timed exclusive right? And you do realize that timed exclusives are lucrative when the "Plattform owner" pays them for the game being a timed exclusive right?
i was able to held back on buying ps4 to play GOW. even until now i haven't buy it and had never play it. and i am fine with it (the gameplay on youtube is awesome) and i do not feel left out.
I'm also confused why people are mad at Capcom for deciding to make a PC port since they're not really obligated to do that.
I'm personally getting both Switch and PC version, but if someone is gonna wait, then it's fine. I'm sure they can allocate their time and money for their own good :3
edit: also it can be argued that pc ruined speedrunning in this game as a whole since they can use modded quests or mod their game to achieve better speedrun times. a good example is using a damage overlay mod to help them with knowing when a monster will be ko'd or staggered, etc and the overlay wont be visible once their gameplay is recorded. or using a modded quest to make a monster behave a certain way, i.e. using certain attacks to make a fight more predictable and easier while using good rng as an excuse.
Sure cheating on the pc is much easier, but playing on a console doesn't prevent this from happening and last time I checked the PS4 most recent firmware is hackable and a lot of switch consoles (depending on when it was produced) are hackable with no way for Nintendo to fix it with software because it exploits the hardware
I don't care for Xbox anymore since they release everything on pc as well these days so I can't say anything about Xbox one in that regard
Oh wow. Some of the stupidest things I ever heard in my entire life.
Cheaters? Hrm, I havent seen a single one. But yeah, that doesn't mean that this game don't have cheaters.
Be happy about pc release. So you can try 60+ fps gaming and you need need to play with stuttering from the hell :)
But okay, 98% of twiggys posts are totally weird.
let's us judge people by looking at 0.0001% of player base that is actually cheating and not the 99.9999% that did not.
i did not cheat, most people did not. hell most have never encountered 1 before.
let me ask you this, with less than 1% chance of encountering cheater, did you not feel any enjoyment on multiplayer at all ?
does that include some utuber that savescum too ?
